Review by hotel critic

During my recent stay at B&B 'T Poorthuys in Middelburg, I was pleasantly surprised by the fine balance between luxury and value that this charming accommodation offers. The beautifully renovated house boasts spacious rooms equipped with modern amenities such as a coffee machine, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. The hospitable hosts, Simon and Peter, go above and beyond to ensure a glorious experience for guests. The breakfast served in the romantic garden is a delightful start to the day, setting the tone for exploration of this quaint city. The provision of special diet menus showcases the personalized touch that sets this B&B apart. The convenient off-site car park and easy access to the city's attractions make it a practical choice for travelers. While the lack of on-site dining options may deter some, the overall value for money at 'T Poorthuys is unquestionable. For those seeking a tranquil retreat with a touch of Dutch design aesthetics, this B&B strikes the perfect balance between luxury and affordability.
